What's Happening at Paper and Pencils, Inc.
Help Us Multiply Our Back Pack Buying Power!
One of our back pack suppliers, My Clear Back Pack Company of Louisville, KY, has
offered to donate one box of 25 back packs for every two boxes of back packs Paper
and Pencils. Inc., purchases this year! That means we can reach 33% more children at
no addition cost to us, a fantastic opportunity to give more children the tools they need
to learn!
We need your help to meet this matching challenge. A box of 25 Varsity back packs is
$411.75, Middle School size is $349.25 and Grade School is $274.25. Can you help by
purchase a box of back packs or even part of a box? This would also be a great
community service project for a school, church group or Scout troop. If you need more

To send a donation please mail your check to the address below, noting "Back Pack
Matching Program" in the memo field.

Every year we send backpacks filled with school supplies to schools in the MS Delta.

Please note that our prices increased this year as all Mississippi school districts
requiring all back packs be of clear plastic to comply with new safety plans.

What Do We Believe?
We believe that education is the best hope of breaking the cycle of poverty.
We help by using your donations to provide back packs, school supplies and
books to needy children in the Mississippi Delta so no child will be denied an
education for lack of paper or pencil.
How do we do this?
Our wonderful supporters hold silent auctions, book sales, bake sales,
rummage sales, etc., and send us school supplies or just plain send money.
We then purchase and ship school supplies to disadvantaged children and
schools in the Delta.
